Matthew J. Weinberg

Overview

Matthew Weinberg focuses his practice on labor and employment law, including specific expertise in matters related to the federal sector. Matthew is an experienced litigator, having represented his clients before federal district courts and the Ninth Circuit Appellate Court. He has also presented before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Merit Systems Protection Board.

Matthew has particular expertise in matters related to claims made for hostile work environment and other employment complaints, from investigation to negotiation and settlement. In addition, Matthew advises clients on employee disciplinary matters and conforming with union contracts.

Before joining Meyers Nave, Matthew served as Assistant Regional Counsel to the Social Security Administration, where he gained invaluable experience both in and out of the courtroom.
