Kevin P. McLaughlin
Overview
With a broad background in litigation, Kevin McLaughlin is an asset to our litigation practice group. He has represented a wide range of clients in areas such as personal injury and government tort claims, wage-and-hour suits, agency proceedings, and contract disputes, to name a few. Kevin has substantial experience in class actions and other complex, multi-party cases, and also has handled a wide range of labor and employment disputes, including such issues as wrongful termination, racial and sexual harassment, retaliation and unfair labor practices. Kevin has experience in state and federal courts in both California and Hawai‛i, and previously taught legal writing and oral advocacy at the University of Hawai‛i, William S. Richardson School of Law.
While in law school, Kevin served as Articles Editor for the Hastings Communications & Entertainment Law Journal. He also served as an intern for the City and County of San Francisco City Attorney Office’s Government Team, and worked as an extern to District Judge Marilyn Hall Patel, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
