Frank R. Petrilli

Overview

Frank Petrilli specializes in writ and appellate litigation under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State Planning and Zoning Law and other land use and environmental statutes, and has counseled public and private clients on a wide range of issues related to CEQA compliance, land use planning and development entitlements. Frank has successfully represented both public entities and private developers in a wide range of litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels, including cases resulting in published appellate decisions. Representative clients include the University of California, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, and numerous other public entities and private developers.

Before joining Meyers Nave, Frank was an associate with Sanger & Olson in San Francisco, where he focused on CEQA compliance and litigation, land use, entitlements and real estate matters.

Frank has been admitted to practice in the Northern District Court of California, Eastern District Court of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
